Today after school we went again to Union Square (of course:-) for a tasty coffee and free internet access. Then, after 5 weeks in S.F., I had my first haircut outside Germany. It was kind of exciting because I was not sure how to explain my wishes to the asian hairdresser, but finally I liked the cut. Hopefully other people like it as well :-) In the evening I tried to take some photos of the city at night. All the pictures are taken around Union Square...
There is nothing special to report today besides school and a run on Embarcadero in the evening. So maybe todays headlines from the San Francisco Chronicle are interesting. After the earthquake in Japan a (very small) tsunami hit the Californian coast with a two-meter wave. One boat sunk. And one of the sea lions scared some swimmers in Aquatic Park, played with them and nippled them. Not much going on over here....
Today was Union Square day again. It was a great summer day, so enjoying the sun in the lunch break was a must. After the school we had a Cafe Latte in a real coffee cup!! Delicious.. :-)
On Union Square there was the same strange picture today: people enjoy the sun......and the christmas tree is being prepared. And there is an ice rink, too, on Embarcadero.
