On top of Nob Hill there is Grace Cathedral, probably the most famous church of San Francisco. Unfortunately it already was in the shadows, so I have to come back once more during the day. Grace Cathedral looks really old, but it isn't. It's built on the place of two houses of the Crocker Family which were destroyed during the huge earthquake 1906. The Crockers decided to donate the ground for a church. The name was taken from an older church, which was destroyed during the earthquake, too.
Grace Cathedral has many interesting things to look at, for example two labyrinths. Today I only walked around it shortly. I discovered a nice and very calm backyard, though.
