Garden party

Maybe it is because of the usually short summers that Germans are addicted to garden parties :-) Maybe childhood memories play a role, too. I don't care whichever reason is the right one, I love it.
And I love it much more with fresh-baked pie (this time with rhubarb)....scrumptious.

But some of the guest prefer herbage to pie....
...under the apple tree.
