Today I am tired, the jetlag has returned. This morning I felt like actually getting up at 2am, which was the current German time. So no big plans for today, just have a decent lunch. I went to the Hysan Place mall and into The Dining Room on the 12th floor. This is a restaurant with a Shanghai-style cuisine and a very bright and welcoming interior.
Got a window seat with a view on a part of Causeway Bay, old buildings mixing with new and everything tightly packed.
Restaurant was rather causual, everything in nice bright colors, mostly white. The yellow-ish liquid in my glass is buckwheat tea.
I ordered several things from the Dim Sum menu, do not remember the name of everything. Very good were the shrimp-filled dumplings in sesame sauce and the pork-filled pan-fried buns.
Have to go there once more, the desserts were looking very tempting, too, but I wasn't hungry enough today.
