A classmate from Arizona and I went for a typical Argentinian dinner: Parilla. It's basically a barbecue of various pieces meat. It's is served on a small barbecue grill directly on the table, including glowing coal pieces. The grill on the table makes sure the pieces stay warm, because it will take quite a while to eat all of it...well, or at least as much as you can :-)

Some of the pieces were easy to identify, like chorizo, chorizo negro, chicken, pork or a tenderloin steak. Even a piece of cheese was on the grill. Then there were other, rather small pieces with strange shapes and tastes. Actually I prefer not to know the origin...

The red wine was absolutely great, though. It was a Malbec, the Argentinian signature grape.

I took some pictures on my way home, but they aren't that great. It was the pocket camera which is a bit helpless at night. The pics show the main boulevard of Bs. As., the Avenida 9 de Julio.

This is a look into the street Calle Corriente, which is said to be the broadway of Bs. As. because of the many theaters.
