Day 68

Today we went for another exploration of the city. We had an appointment for a real southern food dinner on Lower Haight Street. The neighborhood is interesting, there are many beautiful houses and trendy cafes and restaurants. We went there early to take some pictures but unfortunately it rained all the time. At least I took a picture of the Painted Ladies which are some beautiful houses on Alamo Square. Usually you have there downtown as a background but not today in the rain. Then we entered Memphis Minnies, a restaurant on Lower Haight specialised in barbecque food from the southern states of the US. http://www.memphisminnies.com/
The food was great. I had: Memphis Sweet Smoked Pork, Smoked Chicken, Pit Smoked Beans and Potlicker Greens.
As a drink I chose Anchor Steam, which is a beer brewed in San Francisco.
