Hongkong - Day 42

Today's plan was a visit to Lamma Island. So first Star Ferry to TST, then change to Star Ferry to Central Pier, then change again to the ferry to Yung Shue Wan in North-Lamma.
It is a very relaxed island with no car traffic, just some beaches, small fishing villages and a couple of hiking trails. This is the main shopping/dining street of Yung Shue Wan.

To prepare for a day in the countryside we had to eat something. And of course iced milk tea.

I had something with beef, peppers and black beans.

Then along the coast, nice beaches here.

View across the channel onto the south side of HK island, it's probably the village of Aberdeen.

Only a short ferry trip from buzzing HK downtown there is such a beautiful countryside with flowers and fruits.

A first sight of the other ferry pier on Lamma: Sok Kwu Wan on the south side. This was the planned finish of todays walk, later in the evening. Here's the largest fish farming site of HK. So naturally almost all of the houses along it's waterfront are seafood restaurants.

While we were still walking the sun started to hide behind the hills.

More fruits..

..and more coastline views.

Then, eventually the fish and seafood feast at the waterfront...

..before taking the ferry back to Central, along the illuminated coast of HK island.

The Central Ferry Pier is directly in front of the IFC tower.
