City highway

Compared to the highways in the American cities it's rather small, but at least Berlin has a highway. Or in German: Stadtautobahn (Germans love compound words :-). Usually it is not a good idea to enter it during the rush-hour. But at off-peak times it is a nice way to avoid the ten million traffic lights of Berlin and to enjoy a constant speed for more than a minute.
One part of the Berlin city highway is called AVUS (yes, it's in Wikipedia;-). Actually it is a former racing circuit. The photo shows the old stands on the right-hand side.
Here is the sign of the exit Hüttenweg, which leads to a couple of small lakes and Berlins most famous track for inline skaters, the Kronprinzessinenweg (nice compound word again!).
